Abstract
The article is an introductory study to the thematic number of the magazine, presenting examples of contemporary Finland-Swedish prose in translation into Czech. It outlines the historical development of Finland-Swedish literature and describes its current state with a focus on the authors included in this number.
It selectively mentions Czech translations from this literature.
