Abstract
Audiovisual content of the ProCzeFor web application - book 2:
- Original speech material in text and audio form. The text form includes orthographic transcription and transcription in Czech transcription and international IPA transcription.
- Audio recordings are narrated by a professional speaker - male and female voices (Pavel Batěk and Lucie Juřičková).
- The initial volume of recordings is estimated at 50 h. Audio files include approximately 15,000 units, with a predominance of units at the word level; sentences and phrases, and continuous text are also included.
- Chapters are structured concerning the sound characteristics of the Czech language.
- The speech material contains exercises for practicing Czech sounds with regard to their combinatorics with the different difficulties of articulation and selected phenomena of continuous speech.
- Mainly, listening and articulation exercises are used, with a smaller volume of unit identification and differentiation exercises and multiple choice exercises.
