Introduction of the artistic research project "Gutta" authored by Ludomir Franczak and Sára Märc followed by insights from various disciplines represented by Markéta Křížová (Latin American studies), Petr Dlouhý (theory of art) and Filip Herza (historical anthropology) and open discussion, chaired by Vít Zdrálek.
The project's focus was to rethink and artistically reimagine the fate of West African woman called Gutta who was exhibited in ethnographic shows throughout Europe and died in Prague in 1892, and whose remains were later exhibited in Hrdlicka Museum of Man in Prague.
