At the festive Christmas concert, consisting of representative works by prominent composers of different stylistic periods (J. S. Bach, G. P. Telemann, W. A. Mozart, L. Koželuh, J. J. Ryba, J. Massenet, B. Martinů), and in the Grand Aula of the Karolinum, the experimental oncologist Václav Šeda from the Marek Mráz Research Group received the League Against Cancer Award for a set of works on the topic of leukaemias and their therapies
