Abstract
The article provides an overview of the development of Czech creative writing in the first two post-revolutionary decades and documents the research project History of Czech Creative Writing from the Perspective of its Founders. Narratives of two dozen narrators - the founders of the field - has been saved by using the oral history method.
Four of the most significant approaches to teaching are presented in the form of case studies.
