Children and adolescents belong to a group of particularly vulnerable consumers and are therefore subject to stricter rules to protect them from the practices of traders. But how does such protection work in the online environment? It is not enough to protect this group of particularly vulnerable consumers not only from unfair commercial practices, but also in general from various content that could be harmful or inappropriate for them.
This paper will look at how to protect children and adolescents in the online environment and, in particular, how effective this protection is.
