This presentation showcases what the elemental turn can contribute to STS scholarship that is both empirically grounded and speculative. It presents a case study of feminist technoecologies that pay attention to the indeterminacy within articulatory practices and the potential for the unexpected by drawing on fieldwork of a Czech solar monoculture, technoecological sense-ability and the potentials of electric vulnerability for a non-anthropocentric ethics and design of solar installations.
