This paper describes the relationship between contemporary conspiracy theories and American evangelicalism and its eschatological beliefs. It offers a short survey through a few selected dimensions of both phenomena where possible similarities or connections can be found, as there seems to be in the case of the QAnon conspiracy theory.
Such overlaps are observed on the levels of historical interpretation and personal research, distrust towards institutions and authorities, utilizing modern media tools, and especially on the level of the narrative reflecting the premillennial eschatology.
