Abstract
With the high number of foreclosures comes the question of whether the citizens of the Czech Republic are financially literate. The place that takes care of raising financial literacy is, among others, the primary school.
We decided to find out how financial literacy is taught from the perspective of teachers. In the article you will find some results of the questionnaire and teachers' reactions.
We test the knowledge and skills of primary school pupils in financial literacy by means of a test. The most interesting answers of the pupils can be found in the following section.
The article concludes with some materials for teaching financial literacy.
