Abstract

Lower first permanent molars typically have five cusps and two roots. The occurrence of six cusps in the anatomical crown of the teeth is quite rare, especially among the European population, but this anatomical variant is typical for indigenous Australians (1).

In this paper, we present a patient's case together with relevant digital documents. We also describe certain conservating, endodontic, surgical, and periodontic risks related to treating such teeth.
