Special and Inclusive Education Policy and Practice in Kenya, 1963 to 2016: The Journey.
Inclusive Education continues to mean different things to different people. Even within the same education system, it is common for there to be different actors that define it in ways that do not always agree. Kenya is not different in this aspect. Countries have taken different routes towards inclusion in education based on their understanding of the same, their histories, and aspiration. This chapter gives the reader a summary of the evolution of education in Kenya towards inclusive education.
