Scribe Crux of Telč in Třeboň

Abstract

The lecture will introduce a very diligent scribe, Crux of Telč (1434-1504), who from 1478 served as an Augustinian canon in Třeboň, where part of his manuscripts are still stored. Crux of Telč not only copied manuscripts but also intervened in them in various ways.

The lecture will follow up on the exhibition in the Třeboň archive "Ugly manuscripts of Crux of Telč."
