Abstract
The author gives an account of reasons, for which the bill of a new Czech Criminal Code was not accepted. It was introduced before the Parliament of the Czech Republic in 2004 and it was turned down in 2006.
According to the author, one of the reasons why it was turned down was the absence of criminal liability of corporations. The author states reasons, for which the criminal liability of corporations [legal persons] should be established in the Czech system of law [legal order].
