Abstract
Many people from the Czech lands have also passed through the history of South American countries. The article focuses on the Czech footprints left by Czech experts, missionaries, adventurers and emigrants in Chile, Mexico and Paraguay; it also includes information about linguistically oriented publications and the teaching of Czech to the compatriots.
