The issues related to the concept of historical politics are increasingly becoming the subject of contemporary humanitarian research. One of the reasons for the increased scientific interest in this issue is the fact that historical politics is the most important factor of social reality.

According to the Russian historian Miller, A., the concept of historical politics is defined by a set of practices based on financial and administrative resources of the state, by which certain interpretations of historical events become dominant. It can be specified that historical politics is an activity with a goal to represent a certain image of the past, which is in demand in a current political context, through various verbal and visual means.

The socio-cultural space of contemporary Russia demonstrates a whole set of practices of updating historical politics, which it seems logical to consider systematically and interconnected.
