Abstract
The chapter is devoted to Vladimír Hoppe, one of the defining thinkers of Czechoslovak philosophy of First Republic, with regard to the problem of individualism. It examines how Hoppe's transcendental philosophy works with the notion of the individual and demonstrates this analysis through selected texts by Hoppe.
The chapter is part of an anthology on the Czechoslovak philosophy of individualism.
