Abstrakt
This workshop, organised as part of Czechoslovakia and the Korean Peninsula During the Cold War research project, is dedicated to comprehensively examining Cold War dynamics that characterised the interactions between Europe and the Korean Peninsula, emphasising insights drawn from European archives. The central theme of this workshop delves deeply into the intricate complexities that defined the Cold War era, explicitly illuminating the multifaceted relations between Europe and the Korean Peninsula.
The primary objective of this academic workshop is to convene a gathering of international experts specialising in Korean Peninsula studies and European Cold War relations. The overarching aim is to unearth and analyse the invaluable historical records and documents preserved within European archives, allowing participants to gain a fresh and profound understanding of the historical events and interactions that played a pivotal role during this transformative period in international relations.
