Abstract

The conference contribution presents a constitutional-theoretical perspective on addressing the following questions: 1) Is the concept of emergency governance defensible? 2) Must emergency governance inherently be undemocratic? 3) Is it more advantageous for liberal democracies to lack detailed legal regulations on emergency governance?
