Abstract

Well-conceived children's inquiry can be a complex, cognitively demanding process that can significantly support the development of intellectual talent in children. At the same time, it can also be a good tool for identifying cognitively gifted children.

Our research on a sample of 48 children shows that gifted children between the ages of 6 and 10 naturally choose this type of activity.
