Legal aspects of semi-wild breeding of selected large herbivores and its repatriation in the landscape of Czech Republic

Abstract

This article deals with the legal regulation of breeding and repatriation of large herbivores into the Czech landscape. The analysis shows that from the point of view of the current legislation, the introduction of semi-wild breeding or release of selected large herbivores (grazers) into the wild is not at all easy.
