Biological invasions are a global threat to biodiversity in the globalised world and education of pupils is perceived to be very important to prevent new introductions of non-native species. The target group of presented methodology is primary school teachers.
The methodology should serve as a theoretical basis for the extension of the educational area of "Man and his world" and related subjects at the first level of primary schools and for the implementation of environmental education or the future topic of Sustainability and Climate. The information contained herein will provide teachers with a sufficient theoretical framework and guiding scenarios on how to explain the problem of biological invasions and related risks to pupils and how to practice the material with them.
