Abstract
Continuing professional education and workforce development through digital technologies play a key role in today's rapidly changing work environment. With the increasing pace of technological innovation and globalization, it is expected that workers will need to constantly acquire new skills and knowledge to remain competitive in the labor market.
Digital technologies offer a range of tools and resources for such development. As part of the contribution, the demands of Industry 4.0 and 5.0 were addressed.
At the same time, research data focused on the use of digital technologies in further professional education was presented. There was also a discussion on self-study, which is also a key factor, as digital education requires initiative and self-discipline.
