An air disinfection method, a disinfection washer and an air disinfection device

Abstract

The air disinfection method by means of a disinfectant liquid consists in the fact that, in the ascending channel, a compact kinetic hydraulic curtain with a thickness of 2 to 8 mm is formed from drops of a disinfectant liquid with a diameter of

0.1 to

2.5 mm, having a temperature of

15.0 to

55.0 °C and a speed of

6.0 to

11.0 m/s occupying the entire cross-section of the channel, and contaminated air having a temperature of

8.5 to

55.0 °C is supplied from the disinfected area under this curtain, which is allowed to pass through this curtain and, after passing through this curtain, the air is taken back to the disinfected area as cleaned, wherein the supplied amount of disinfectant liquid is a minimum of 4 litres per 1 m3 of supplied contaminated air, and the supplied volume of contaminated air is a maximum of 13 m3/min per 1 m2 of the curtain area. The air disinfection washer for performing this method consists of an ascending working chamber (1) having a diameter of up to 1 m, equipped, in the upper part, with an inlet (2) of a disinfectant liquid and an outlet (3) of purified air and, in the lower part, equipped with an outlet (4) of a disinfectant liquid and an inlet (5) of contaminated air, wherein the inlet (2) of the disinfectant liquid is equipped with at least one nozzle (Tr) to create a compact kinetic hydraulic curtain (6) covering the entire cross-section of the working chamber (1).
