Abstract
The contribution focuses on the presentation and critical evaluation of the proposed legal instruments with which the EU is supposed to face the persistently occurring and increasingly dangerous cybercrime. Attention is focused, for example, on issues of combatting the spread of illegal content on the Internet or on profoundly topicl issues related to securing electronic evidence.
The author discusses the responsibility of providers of intermediary services for illegal content and the obligation of providers of intermediary services to cooperate with law enforcement authorities in relation to illegal content and electronic evidence.
