Deinstitutionalization of psychiatric care: opportunities, risks and prerequisites for its successful implementation

Abstract

The review article discusses the process of deinstitutionalization based on foreign experience. It aims to analyze the possible risks and opportunities that the process of deinstitutionalization in the Czech Republic may bring, especially in the context of the ongoing reform of psychiatric care.
