Abstract
The article is a survey study of the so-called Palestinian liberation theology. It introduces the historical roots of this theology in the experience of the occupation of the Palestinian territories.
It shows where it builds on Latin American liberation theology and where it differs from it, especially in its interpretation of the story of the exodus. It specifies its ecumenical and interfaith character, as well as its demarcation from Jewish and Western Christian Zionism.
