Between stage and audience; theatre of the oppressed from the perspective of joker

Abstract

The book brings overview of theatre of the oppressed as a method from the perspective of joker - a person, who prepares performance with the group of non-actors and takes care for group process during the performance. The text brings also new impulses for concrete work with groups of non-actors and audience, which are inspired by physical theatre, working with rhythm, storytelling or voice experiments.

The text offers wide range of concrete examples as well as stories of concrete jokers from the Czech Republic.
