The Fall of Regnum: Elites and Tribal Perception in the Early Middle Ages

Abstract

The presentation was par of a workshop for the meeting of Czech and German historians of Medieval history at the University of Regensburg. The presentation itself was devoted to the introducing of the draft to the dissertation thesis of the author.

The thematic focus was on tribal identites in the early medieval period and the transformation of elites in the province of Gallaecia after its conquest by the Visigoths.
