Abstract

The exhibition in the Hyb4City space at the Hybernská Campus presents the work of students/teens from the Atelier II. Contexts of Art in the framework of the Master's studies at the KVV PedF UK.

The students/theses visually, artistically grasp the ideas of our future, highlighting the themes of perception of the present, for which fragility and polarity of certainty and uncertainty are more than characteristic. At the same time, the future is capable of presenting us with completely unexpected phenomena and events, despite the existing knowledge, as discussed in the so-called black swan theory.

The significance of the black swan metaphor lies in the fragility of any system of thought that operates with the assumptions and expectations given by our limited experience. Until we see a black swan with our own eyes, we don't believe it could exist.
