Abstract
Music lessons with elements of J. È. Dalcroze convey knowledge to children and fills them with experience through elementary music and movement activities.
The workshop works with time, space and energy. Activities are presented that develop children's sensitivity to tone, rhythmic and general movement skills, and involve rhythmic Orff instruments and scarves.
Proven Dalcroze principles are also presented as a still relevant means of teaching music in a meaningful and active way. The workshop was held as part of the National Symposium of Elementary School Music Teachers in Bystré in 4 to 6th October, 2023..
