Abstract
Currently, when the entire recodification of Czech criminal law has not yet been completed, it is desirable to try improving the quality of legislation on crimes against property, namely to ease criminal repression for selected crimes. The article discusses the possibilities of improving the legal regulation of crimes against property, namely the crime of theft under the provisions of Section 205(2) of the Czech Criminal Code and the crimes of insurance fraud (Section 209 of the Criminal Code), credit fraud (Section 210 of the Criminal Code) and subsidy fraud (Section 211 of the Criminal Code).
In these cases, in the author's opinion, criminal repression is more extensive than desired.
