Abstrakt
The lecture concerned the theory of social memory and its application to the Gospel of Luke texts. In addition to the issue of hermeneutics, Luke's stylization of Jesus' parables, current works focused on the analysis of parables through the lens of social memory theory and socio-scientific criticism were mentioned and reflected upon (see R.
Zimmermann, K. Snodgrass and E. van Eck).
The text Luke 16:1-8a was analyzed through the lens of the mentioned theories and given ancient wealth-related literature.
