Solid-State Reduction of Silver Nitrate with Polyaniline Base Leading to Conducting Materials

Abstract

The invstigation of the reaction between non-conducting polyaniline base with non-conducting silver nitrate in dry state has been performed. The product ot the reaction is a conductive pernigraniline form of polyaniline as well as metallic silver.

FTIR spectroscopy, Raman spectroscopy and conductivity measurements have been used in these study.
