Numerical solution of convection-diffusion equations using a nonlinear method of upwind type (DOI 10.1007/s10915-008-9260-2)

Abstract

We extend the Mizukami-Hughes method to the whole range of the diffusion parameter and prove that the extended method satisfies the discrete maximum principle.
