Abstract
A notion of service-oriented architecture is a popular and in many ways new thing now. But a concept of services and service-oriented systems has been successfully used for a long time in manufacture control systems.
But service-oriented architecture thanks its flexibility and scalability pushes recently on a sphere of enterprise systems or e-government. This fact brings new challenges in a data integration or a data storage.
This article discusses advantages and disadvantages of SOA and then it is focused on issues and their usual solutions in a data storage and integration.
