Glucose-induced MDR pump resynthesis in respiring yeast cells depends on nutrient level.

Abstract

Fluorescent assay using diS-C3(3) was employed to determine the factors affecting de novo synthesis of MDR pumps induced by glucose addition in respiring yeast cells that have zero activity of these xenobiotic-expelling pumps.
