Higher-Order Finite Volume Method for Multidimensional Compressible Flow

Abstract

The subject-matter of this paper is the generalization of the first order finite volume method of Godunov type to the higher-order one. It is based on the ADER approach.

We deal with the multidimensional Euler equations describing the inviscid compressible gas flow in channels, past airfoils and cascades of turbine blades.
