The Ceremonial of the Mediaeval Church Synods. The Canonical Orders and Bohemian Reality at the End of the Middle Ages

Abstract

The study concerns the ceremonial aspect of the mediaeval priestley assemblies on the basis of orders and provisions valid from early medieval period to the end of Middle Ages. The analysis of such sources makes possible the comparison of these documents with the real conditions prevailing in the 14th - 15th century Bohemia.
