This videoprogram contains several lectures from the meeting of the English teachers of the Deaf who came to the NTID at RIT in 2005 prior to the International Symposium from different parts of the U.S. to share and exchange their teaching experience with this uneasy discipline. English is for American deaf students, the same like for the Czech deaf students, a foreign language, not their mother tongue, which is always a sign language, be it American or Czech Sign Language, or any other sign language, which is being used by the Deaf in different countries of the world.
