Abstract
The Steffel's dictionary of the Tarahumara language is not only a language dictionary.The terms explaing cultural features found among the native people living in northwestern Mexico in the 18th century. The author put forward a question what is Steffel's cultural interpretation of the religion terms founding in this dictionary.
