Abortions and the attitudes to the abortions in Romanian women: Results of the representative survey

Abstract

Based on an anonymous questionnaire survey of a representative sample of 1001 Romanian women age 15 to 50 the authors can claim that the number of induced abortions significantly increases with age; women married or divorced more frequently undergo induced abortion than single women; women using any type of contraception have significantly less incidence of induced abortion in their history.
