O kreativním psaní na základě lexikálních map (systém vyvinul C Belica).The article speaks about critical situation in deaf education in the Czech Republic in general. Special interest is paid to teaching English to the Deaf as a second foreign language (their first foreign language being Czech which they unfortunately do not know well either).
Stressed is the necessity of cooperation between Czech universities and Czech special schools aimed at establishing proper curriculum for teaching English to the Deaf at both secondary and tertiary levels of education, as well as a certain necessary adaptation of the English exam to the present day abilities of Czech deaf students. Introduced are also some efficient LT strategies and methods which proved to work well in teaching English to Czech Deaf university students.
