Intertextuality, interpretation and the translation of a literary text

Abstract

The paper focuses on intertextuality and the interpretation of the translated literary text from the viewpoint of transfer of cultural contents, traditions and realia. It uses specific examples to illustrate the unambiguous and specific intertextuality of literary texts.
