The Myth of the descent of Czech kings from the beautiful fairy Melusine

Abstract

The article analyses the romance by Jean d?Arras commissioned by the dynasty of Luxemburg. Since the Early Modern era it's been popular in literary works and folklore. The paper brings new stimuli from the comparative and anthropologic perspective.
