Secular process in the Czech society is very well documented in the Vilímek´ s National album (1899), one from the most important samples of the Czech national elite in the 19th century. There are only 107 (88 Catholic and 19 Protestant) priests among 1329 personalities included in this album. It is clear, that they were for the Czech national society less important in the last decades of the 19 th century than in the first half of this century.
The authors of this study also inform us (with the use of statistics and historical analysis) about others representations of the scular process in the Czech society.
