Inside the Visual Horizon - an Architectonical Feeling (Jan Patočka´s Reflection on Architecture)

Abstract

The study deals with Jan Patočka´s reflections on the architecture. It stresses Patočka´s idea that the material architecture is only the consequence of the union of two sensual fields, the tactile one and visual one.
