Abstract

Vlasta Kálalová Di-Lotti, a Czechoslovak physician, worked in Bagdad in 1925-1932. She founded a small hospital in Bagdad.

We can follow a few rolles she played there. She was a great physician, she worked on research of tropical diseases.

Vlasta Kálalová also tried to extend Czechoslovak export to Iraq, especially pharmaceutics products and asked for Czechoslovak consulate in Bagdad.
