Between different worlds - Bai Xianyong and the issue of identity in Taiwan literature

Abstract

Research on short stories by one of the greatest 20th century Chinese language writers. It deals also with the issue of Taiwan cultural identity and on a more general level with the East-West relationship in modern Asian literatures.
