Rise-fall F0 patterns in contemporary Czech: distribution and function

Abstract

The rise-fall F0 contour seems to be a relevant feature both on the word and on the sentence level in Czech. The discussion on the differences in form and function of this contour is supported by results of analyses and perceptual evaluation of read-speech material.
