Abstract
The study sets out to elucidate the concept of utopia as a one underpinned by an old mythologem of paradise lost that is characterized by a special topics; this topics has undergone a number of transformations during varied and continous interplay between topia and utopia, between the current social reality and its imagined past or future state; a permanent tension between literature and history thus represents a key feature of the concept of utopia.
